Nigel Eltringham is an Africanist anthropologist and lecturer at the University of Sussex, UK. Author of Accounting for Horror: Post-Genocide Debates in Rwanda (Pluto, 2004), his research focuses on the social and political consequences of mass violence in the African continent. On the 15th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, he was guest editor of a special issue of the Journal of Genocide Research (2009, vol. 11, No. 1) which included contributions from expert researchers in Rwanda.
